Nate Leon... Son, Brother, Friend, Paramedic, union brother, and lover of his family and community. He is these things and so much. Nate has been so much to so many people. Nate was unfortunately diagnosed with Stage 4 Hodgkin's lymphoma. I am proud to say, that our community was able to come together and provide support as Nate not only conquered the challenges of paramedic school to become a licensed paramedic, he also bravely defeated his cancer. Nate allowed nothing to stop him. I can honestly say that Nate is one of the strongest people I have ever had the honor to know.
As we all know, cancer can be... Stubborn. I am truly sudden to report that Nate's cancer has returned, and it's much more aggressive this time. This course of treatment is going to be much more intense and ten times more taxing... And it almost goes without saying, much more expensive. All that said, Nate needs your help.
Nate Leon has given so much to our community. He works so incredibly hard to serve and help the citizens of Monterey county, as well as his friends and family. We established this campaign because I think it's time we try to give back to a man who has dedicated his life to service. This time is going to be so much harder, we all need to do our part and help Nate carry the load. He need to put all his energy his upcoming fight, and not worrying about the little things.
Please give what you can, because every penny counts. I realize we have a large goal, but cancer treatment is expensive. Thank you in advance.
