We are so happy to be in the process of growing our family through adoption again. We have met so many wonderful older kids through our mission work in Ecuador and we would love the opportunity to give an older child a forever family. We have recently completed our home study and have been approved to adopt an older child from Ecuador. There are many many more details we cannot share here on an open forum, but we just ask that you pray with us for our child and we would be glad to share with you or answer any questions you have.
While adoption is expensive, we have seen God provide in amazing ways for our past 3 adoptions and we know He will do the same for this one as well. Our total adoption expenses will be around $30,000.00, but we will also apply for grants and receive a tax credit. I will include a breakdown of expenses so you can see why adoption is so expensive. All the funds we raise here will go directly towards the adoption expenses for our newest family member!!! :)))
Agency Application Fee - $250.00
Home study -$1700.00
Home study agency review- $500.00
Birth/marriage certificates/adoption training/fingerprints/medical exams/lab work/psychological evals/apostilles, etc -$2500.00
USCIS -Homeland Sec. -$1030.00
Document translations -$500.00
Adoption Agency Fees -$16,000.00
Travel fees ( 2 adults both ways- 1 child flight home)- $2400.00
In country frees for visa's travel, travel for visa's, court expenses -$3000.00
Additional in country expenses -2000-2500
