Hello, my name is Anne Valby. I am fundraising for The Mount Family, who have been poisoned by Lead from a Landlord who knowingly knew of the lead situation upon rental agreement. They are a family of 6 who rented on Hammerschmidt Ave. in Buffalo, NY. They were poisoned with lead for the past two years. They had to move ASAP. However, finding a place with a large family was a huge challenge. Ultimately they didn't find an apartment and had to live in motels and a shelter. It is not free to be homeless. They exhausted their savings paying for motels. (Downtown Assistance will not assist you if you have any money.) They currently live in a less-than-desirable neighborhood. Hearing gunshots during the night is no way to raise children. Her Husband (Chris) can no longer work as he suffers from Tonic-Clonic Seizures, formerly known as Grand Maul, which is solely due to lead poisoning. His seizures are frequent and without warning. The children suffer from memory and behavioral issues due to lead contamination. The vitamins alone have been thousands of dollars to help clear the children's bodies from this toxic poison. When the children witness their Father having these seizures, they are terrified. It is not for the faint of heart. As a result, Bethany (The mother and wife) has had to cut back her hours at work to take care of the children and her husband. She is drowning. Bethany is a highly proud woman who has never asked for anything from anyone; this is very difficult for her. They don't have any friends or family that are in any position to help them. We are turning to friends and our communities to help this family. Bethany is a firm believer in Karma, being a good person and giving back. She lends her hand to many charities when she can. Asking for help is very difficult for her. She is begging for help. She needs help getting back on her feet. They need a place to live that is safe. She needs gas money to put in her car. She needs to be able to pay for her car insurance. She is the sole provider and has to drive her children to and from school, which now restricts how many hours she can work. She will be grateful for anything anyone can donate. This family has suffered enough. What happened to her family is morally wrong and devasting. Dealing with all this out of pocket due to one man only given community service as his punishment for poisoning this unfortunate family. The situation has taken her husband and the kid's Father away. He has suffered several concussions due to his seizures if Bethany is not there to catch him when he falls. You can see his journey via;

Chris was their ROCK, the leading provider, the best Dad and Husband. Now she has no choice but to try a Go Fund Me. The Landlord took their money every month, knowing he wasn't supposed to. Being certified by the EPA. This man had zero regards for not only Bethany's family but the family he had moved in with immediately after the Mount family had to move out.
