Claire and Mamta are running The Great Scottish Run Half Marathon and raising money for The Moira Fund.

The Moira Fund is an incredible charity that provides grants to families who have been bereaved by murder or culpable homicide/manslaughter.

Through her work with the Support for Families Bereaved by Crime Team at Victim Support Scotland, Claire has seen first hand how much these grants help families. They provide things like; much needed respite breaks away, financial support with funerals, private counselling and memorial items.

The Moira Fund really is a beacon of light during the most difficult time for families. The fact this charity is run by Bea & Hu, whose daughter Moira was murdered in Glasgow in 2008, makes it all the more special. They are amazing people and Claire is honoured to work alongside them to support families in Scotland.

We have been training hard for this and would appreciate any donations - it will help get us through on the day!!
