I'm rallying my friends, family and community to help create real change by taking on the Mission America 24-Mile Challenge, in support of Stand Up To Cancer, a longside William Goodge's incredible challenge to run 50 marathons, in 50 States, in 24 days.

I'll be running at least 24 miles, with every mile honouring a life touched by cancer.

As some of you know, my dad was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer in March 2026. Tragically, by the time it was detected, it was too late for treatment, and cancer took his life in mid-July 2026.

Losing my dad so quickly to cancer has made the importance of early detection and cancer research deeply personal to me. No family should have to face the heartbreak of discovering cancer when it is already too late for treatment.

Stand Up To Cancer raises awareness and funds research to improve cancer detection and treatment, with the ultimate goal of curing all patients. Its ambitious mission is to make early-stage detection a standard part of care for all cancers, helping more people have the opportunity for earlier diagnosis and better outcomes.

I'm taking on these miles in memory of my dad and in support of everyone whose life has been touched by cancer. By joining William's wider fundraising effort, I hope we can help make a meaningful difference and support research that could give more families precious extra time with the people they love.
