In October 2025, I’ll be walking 42 miles in one day between all three of our Grow and Glow support group locations – Guildford (Guildford Fire Station), Reigate (Surrey Fire and Rescue HQ), and Epsom (Toyota GB Head Office) – to raise vital funds for this beautiful community we’ve created together.

Grow and Glow is a free, female-only peer support group based in Surrey, supporting women with their mental health through honest conversation, community, and connection. We now run three weekly groups, with more women joining us every single week. The group is currently fully funded by myself, whilst we await for CIC status so we can apply for funding.

This challenge – The Miles That Connect Us – isn’t just about the distance. It symbolises the journey that so many of us are on, and how powerful it can be when women come together to support one another. I’ll be walking the full 42-mile loop in a single day, with some of our group members joining for sections or supporting along the way.
