The Meister Family Adoption

The Meister's are adopting!

We are excited to share that we have started our adoption journey! In November we decided to use a private agency for our adoption. We are adopting an infant domestically (U.S. adoption) through an out of state based agency. We're saving and working to help bring our new little family member home, and are in need of your support.

We’ve been waiting and praying for the start of our family for some time now. Jesus has opened doors in incredible ways as we’ve taken steps into adoption. HE has made it so clear that this is the road we’re meant to take, and we’re excited to be a part of what He’s doing here! Throughout our journey to becoming parents, the Lord has been good, kind and faithful to us.

We still have a long road ahead. We will most likely wait 2-4 more years to be matched with our child and their birth family.

As we step into the next phase of our journey, many of you have so kindly asked how you can support us on this journey. (Thank you! What a gift to be surrounded by such love and support!)Here are a few ways you can help.

Prayer: There are a few different ways we’d invite you to pray with us.

We would invite you to pray for every single birth family that we'll have the privilege of coming into contact with - especially our child’s birth family. For their birth parents - that God would surround them with people who love them and offer them hope in the midst of their individual journeys.

We’d invite you to pray for our future child(ren) as we wait for them to join our family - for their health, safety, growth and development. For the life they live before and after they join our family and that most important they would learn to love and trust Jesus as they learn to love and trust us.

We’d invite you to pray for those we have been working with throughout this process - including our families, especially Rachel's parents who have been a huge help to us. & also our matching agency & home study agency.

Our greatest need right now is financially.

Financial Support: The reality is that our adoption process will have a VERY hefty cost - any & every little bit helps & will make a difference. God has provided for us so far and we know HE’LL continue to do so. (Also if you would feel more comfortable sending a check that is completely fine with us as well).

Thank you for being part of our family’s story - words can’t express how thankful we are for your prayers, love and support. We thank God always for you and continue to anticipate the arrival of our sweet little baby, whoever & whenever that glorious day arrives!
