Hi, my name is Lorraine. My sister Maria and I are the principals of

The McGowanettes Morris Troupe. Our troupe is based in Langley, Middleton, Manchester.

We were founded in 1975 and have continued to train children and adults to dance in competition since. We are in our 50th year this year!

We are a self-funded troupe and currently we are trying to raise funds to buy our very first minibus to transport the dancers to competition on Sundays. We have borrowed and rented but that still comes with a lot of problems for us! The only way we can see a way through to get all the dancers to competitions is to try and buy our own way off transport.
