The McDowell Family

Hi,

My name is Kathryn, and I've established this fundraiser for Kristy McDowell and her four beautiful children.

Like many, I was saddened to hear that Kristy's husband, Martin, had passed away. My son Oli has been friends with Josh since grade 7, and I have had a professional relationship with the family through my work at West Winds and Wombats Child Care Centre.

I may have been on the periphery of Kristy's life, but I wanted to reach out to her and give her some support during this difficult time. In addition, I wanted to make a financial contribution to their recovery and future. I realised that I might make a slight difference alone, but collectively we have the potential to make a big difference.
