The McDougald/Ortiz family has endured a traumatic event. There home was caught on fire and not sure if it will be livable again. Thankfully the family is safe and no one was harmed in the blaze.

Elaine is a valued employee in the East Hartford Public Schools and a wonderful friend that I have known for the past 5 years. She is a dedicated and caring mother, wife, and friend to many. Her two daughters, 13 and 4, are her world and she has worked incredibly hard to give them a fulfilled childhood.

No donation is to small during this time of year. The holidays are fast approaching and we’d like to bring them some joy this season after this tragedy
