Friends and associates of Mr Andy Awesome Dawson, hear our call!

It’s Andy’s birthday very soon and I implore you to help out with a situation that has befallen our most dependable of Comrades.

On top of some difficult and emotionally draining family issues, Andy’s studio DOA has been hit by more damage of which the insurance company will not pay out on.

That’s 11k of broken equipment.

Jobs have had to have been turned down, services not rendered and consequently money has been lost.

DOA has never been the cash cow at the best of times but with this, times are pretty dire.

To get this brilliant establishment to the point of summer income I am passing round the begging bowl. The love Andy has built up over the years needs to be monetised. The ghost of Bob Geldof is lurking.

In short: help is really needed.

There will be a go fund me set up and money thrown in and hopefully a future for DOA, Andy, Andy’s family and extended family of the musicians of Bolton secured.

Obviously Andy knows nothing of this and I'd like to keep it that way.

This is a blunt instrument but times are hard.
