Family Fun Day for Safer Sleep &Sudden Infant Death Syndrome
Donation protected
Welcome to our fundraiser for The Lullaby Trust! This incredible charity provides vital support to families affected by Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS) and works tirelessly to promote safer sleep practices for babies. Every year, The Lullaby Trust helps hundreds of families who are coping with the heart-breaking loss of a child due to SIDS. They offer bereavement support, guidance, and funding for research into the causes of SIDS. Additionally, they educate parents and caregivers on safe sleep guidelines to help reduce the risk of SIDS.
Why we are Fundraising: On 17th December 2022 our family suffered a huge loss, unfortunately losing Maxx to Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS) . Our family is devastated by this tragedy, but we are determined to raise awareness and offer support to other families facing similar heartache. Throughout this difficult time, we have received invaluable support from our local CONI Team (Care of the Next Infant), which is part of the Lullaby Trust. Their mission to raise awareness of SIDS has been a source of comfort, they have been instrumental in helping us navigate the grief we continue to go through. However, the CONI Team for North Essex and Suffolk urgently needs additional equipment to continue supporting families in the region. For example, at present they only have four baby sleep mats monitors for the entire area, which makes fundraising for this cause even more critical.
How You Can Help: Any contribution, no matter the size, will make a real difference. Together, we can help raise awareness, provide critical support, and ultimately save lives. Please donate to my campaign and share it with your friends and family. We thank you for your generosity and support.
To help raise funds for this amazing charity we are hosting a family fun day on the 30th August at FREELANDS FARM, LOWER FARM LANE, Brightlingsea, Colchester CO7 0SU starting at 12pm.
