The Loss of Erik Farias

We are heartbroken to share the news of the passing of our Erik, a beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend. As a family, we are devastated to even have to write this. Losing someone at such a young age is simply unbearable.

Erik passed away suddenly Thursday. The cause of death is still unknown. We appreciate your respect for our privacy as we navigate this unexpected tragedy.

Erik was a triumphant personality. Many of you knew him as a one-of-a-kind athlete. Not only did he shine on the court but off the court as well, if not more. We love him so much and will miss him dearly.
