The Lingls give their kids a Merry Christmas

Hi, my name is Tonia Lynk and I’m a close friend of Ben & Renee Lingl. Earlier this year Ben was hospitalized due to Covid. He was unable to work for several weeks and used up all of his vacation and sick time from the VA. While in the hospital, Ben’s sister passed away leaving behind their 3 year old niece. Ben & Renee opened up their hearts and home and have made their niece Nicole a member of their family. In order to help Nicole get adjusted, Renee had to cut back her hours from work.
On October 7th, following a burial service for one of our dearest friends, Ben was struck by a car while riding his motorcycle home when a woman ran a red light. Luckily Ben’s injuries were not life threatening, however he’s been left unable to work since the accident as he heals his body and his brain from a severe concussion. Ben had very little sick time and vacation built back up from the hospitalization and recovery from Covid earlier in the year. Renee has been trying to work as much as she is able, but also has to take Ben to his numerous doctor and therapy appointments, along with Nicole’s counseling appointments.
Ben & Renee would never ask for help! I’m starting this because this family has a huge heart and they have endured more stress in one year than anyone should have to deal with. Let’s ease their stress this Christmas season!!
