Amanda, Keith, Kayla and Axel need our help!

In April Keith began having seizures, with no known cause. Tests came back clear and no one had any answers. Only that he could not drive or work until he was cleared.

On Tuesday 11th of June Keith had a big seizure after having a extreme headache and being sick for the 5 days prior. An ambulance was called and he was sent to hospital.

Once there they were questioning if he had had a stroke due to the left side of his body being numb and weak, sepsis from a lung infection and they were concerned that he may have had meningitis.

Throughout the week they were able to rule out meningitis however the seizures had become so bad that he had multiple MET calls and the ICU remained on standbye.

On Monday this week, after the hospital ran out of tests to do, they discharged him home and advised that he will not be able to work for the next 6 - 12 months. Keith remains unwell and at high risk and is likely to end up in hospital again. Due to the public health wait times for the specialists that Keith requires the family now have to source a private nurologist with no private health and living on 1 income.

This family like most of us have a mortgage, car payments, registration & household bills. They have to find money to pay for a pediatrician for medication for their daughter and on top of that their washing machine has just died.

This has put a huge financial strain on the family and we want to do as much as we can to help! If there’s anything you can donate whether big or little please do! Every dollar will count to helping them survive over the next coming months.
