Hello, family and friends,

My name is Emmanuel Berkoh. I am a Bronx native of Ghanaian descent, and I am humbled and excited to share that I’ve founded an organization, Legacy Beyond Dreams, to empower Ghana’s youth by fostering their academic growth and equipping them with the resources to succeed. While Legacy Beyond Dreams is currently an LLC, I am actively working to transition it into a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization to amplify our impact and sustainability.

This Christmas, we’re hosting our First Annual Christmas Drive and aim to raise $3,000 by December 24th to support this endeavor. The drive will be held at the Church of Pentecost in New Aplaku, Accra, Ghana. From 10 AM to 2 PM, we will provide 250–300 primary and junior high school students with essential school supplies—including notebooks, pencils, folders, and backpacks—as well as a warm meal of jollof rice and chicken to celebrate the season. We believe a little support can go a long way in boosting students’ potential and providing tools to help them succeed.

We plan to continue this drive annually. Next year, we hope to:

• Reach more children in Accra, Kumasi, and other villages.

• Provide additional resources, such as clothing and ongoing educational support through supplies.

• Strengthen community impact with sustainable initiatives.

This is more than a one-time effort—it’s the foundation of lasting change for primary and junior high school students in Ghana.
