The Last Walk To The River

Our goal is to raise £5000 to build 2 wells in the Republic of Benin by the end of 2022. We would love for you to rally around this cause and donate to improve these communities' quality of life.

Mimine AG is a London-based luxury womenswear brand focusing on couture and size-inclusive ready-to-wear, ranging from sizes UK 12-28/ (US 8-24). The brand was launched in 2018 by Beninese designer Mimine Agbantou.

In a society where women feel pressure to conform, we rebel against these rigid, outdated standards of beauty and decorum. We seek to demarginalise the curvy woman not through struggle but with self-assured sensuality.

This season, we are bringing awareness to the lack of clean water in many communities worldwide.

Having to walk many kilometres to find clean water for daily needs is the reality for many women and young girls living in those underdeveloped rural areas.

Via this collection entitled “The last walk to the river”, the brand is giving homage to these unbreakable women and raising funds to build wells in rural areas in the Benin Republic. Mimine AG has pledged 5% of all the Spring Summer 2023 sales to the charity "Les Hirondelles de l’avenir" toward creating as many wells as possible. They have already built 25 wells to date, helping Benin communities and promoting women and girls' growth.
