We’re inviting you to support the Spring 2026 NYC workshop of THE LAST - PHARAOH.
A bold, large-scale immersive show.
A modern-day American political thriller.
A visceral, cinematic, and unapologetic new depiction of an icon.
Conceived during their time as performers and creatives in 'Sleep No More' and 'Life and Trust,' two of the most influential immersive theatrical productions, THE LAST - PHARAOH was born out of Stefanie and Leslie's deep experience in creating immersive performance across commercial, experimental, and nonprofit spaces. Now, they are building a large-scale work of their own, and we're asking for your support to make this world a reality.
At the center of THE LAST - PHARAOH is Cleopatra, reincarnated and reimagined through a lens of Black feminist power and authorship. Our Cleo is no longer a distant icon of the past but a living force: embodied, strategic, seductive, and fully in command of her own narrative.
Audiences won’t just sit and watch. They will move through the work, encountering moments, performers, and environments as they unfold around them.
This work:
- Expands the language of immersive performance
- Centers Black authorship in large-scale experiential storytelling
- Brings together top-tier interdisciplinary collaborators
- Has a clear trajectory toward commercial production
This project is at a critical phase. After years of exploring and devising, THE LAST - PHARAOH is ready for its first New York City workshop.
