The Langley Seniors Need Your Help!
Want to join me in making a difference? I'm raising money to benefit LANGLEY SENIOR RESOURCES SOCIETY, and any donation will help make an impact. On January 16, 2024, the Langley Senior Resources Society (LSRS) suffered a catastrophic flood from a burst sprinkler line. This nonprofit organization has operated in Langley for over 40 years. There are over 1000 seniors that belong to this society, including my 87-year-old mother. Many of these seniors attend the centre multiple times each week. Due to the flood, the centre is trying to open areas for the seniors, but it is very limited. The centre is a lifeline of communication for many of the elderly. This displacement is hitting them hard emotionally. Although insurance will cover some things, it will not cover everything, plus there is a large deductible.
I am imploring you to open your hearts to the seniors and consider donating. We will all be seniors one day so let’s pay it forward, before we get there. Thank you so much for considering a donation. All donators will receive a tax-deductible receipt.
