One day. One community. How far can we go?

On Wednesday 14 October 2026, we're bringing the Lakeside North Harbour community together for something special.

From 7am to 7pm, we're inviting everyone working at Lakeside to step outside, walk around the lake and help raise funds for Hampshire & Isle of Wight Air Ambulance.

The idea is simple. Walk one lap, walk ten, or just join us for a little while during your lunch break. Each lap is approximately 1.5 miles, and we'll be tracking our combined distance throughout the day to see how far we can go together.

Why we're doing this

This event has a particularly personal meaning for us at Eco Drift.

We recently lost a much-loved member of our team who became seriously unwell while working at Lakeside. Hampshire & Isle of Wight Air Ambulance was among the emergency services that responded that day.

Sadly, our colleague passed away later in hospital.

We wanted to do something positive in his memory, bringing together the community where he worked while supporting the people who provide vital emergency care across our region.

How you can get involved

Whether you work at Lakeside, know someone taking part or simply want to support the cause, we'd be grateful for your involvement.

- Walk with us. Join at any time between 7am and 7pm on Wednesday 14 October. There's no minimum distance and no need to walk the entire 12 hours.

- Make a donation. Every contribution, however small, helps support the charity's lifesaving work.

- Spread the word. Share this page with colleagues, friends and family.

- Get your company involved. We're encouraging businesses at Lakeside to consider matching donations made by their teams.

There's no race and no pressure to achieve a particular distance. We simply want to see what we can accomplish when a community comes together.
