 <strong>One day. One community. How far can we go?</strong>
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 On Wednesday 14 October 2026, we're bringing the Lakeside North Harbour community together for something special.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 From 7am to 7pm, we're inviting everyone working at Lakeside to step outside, walk around the lake and help raise funds for Hampshire &amp; Isle of Wight Air Ambulance.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 The idea is simple. Walk one lap, walk ten, or just join us for a little while during your lunch break. Each lap is approximately 1.5 miles, and we'll be tracking our combined distance throughout the day to see how far we can go together.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 <strong>Why we're doing this</strong>
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 This event has a particularly personal meaning for us at Eco Drift.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 We recently lost a much-loved member of our team who became seriously unwell while working at Lakeside. Hampshire &amp; Isle of Wight Air Ambulance was among the emergency services that responded that day.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 Sadly, our colleague passed away later in hospital.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 We wanted to do something positive in his memory, bringing together the community where he worked while supporting the people who provide vital emergency care across our region.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 <strong>How you can get involved</strong>
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 Whether you work at Lakeside, know someone taking part or simply want to support the cause, we'd be grateful for your involvement.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 - <strong>Walk with us</strong>. Join at any time between 7am and 7pm on Wednesday 14 October. There's no minimum distance and no need to walk the entire 12 hours.
</div>
<div>
 - <strong>Make a donation</strong>. Every contribution, however small, helps support the charity's lifesaving work.
</div>
<div>
 - <strong>Spread the word</strong>. Share this page with colleagues, friends and family.
</div>
<div>
 - <strong>Get your company involved</strong>. We're encouraging businesses at Lakeside to consider matching donations made by their teams.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 There's no race and no pressure to achieve a particular distance. We simply want to see what we can accomplish when a community comes together.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 Thank you for supporting <strong>The Lakeside Lap and Hampshire &amp; Isle of Wight Air Ambulance.</strong>
