The Kili 3 Charity Climb for DSI and Make-a-Wish
Donation protected
Hi everyone, 3 of us are climbing the magnificent Kilimanjaro late January and we feel it is only right to try to raise some much needed money for charity whilst doing so.
Kilimanjaro, at nearly 6 thousand metres high is world renowned as one of the 'Seven-Summits' and is a far cry from an afternoon stroll up Glendalough. The climb will take 7 days in total throughout which we will be sleeping rough in tents, enduring sub-zero temperatures, aching muscles and hoping to avoid the native African insects/wildlife who may pose a risk to our wellbeing!
The cost of the trip has been covered in full by ourselves and all contributions on this page are for the charities we have chosen - DSI Downs syndrome Ireland and MAKE-A-WISH foundation Ireland.
Thank you so much for all support.
Every person donating will go into a draw for a lovely hand made parlour guitar made for us.
*We will be having a fundraiser night with the raffle and music on the 27th of December in Lucan GAA
