The Jurassic Coast Challenge - St Barnabas House

This August, our group of 9 will be completing the Jurassic Coast Challenge in it's entirety - trekking 177km of beach, trail and road from the red cliffs of Exmouth, round the Isle of Portland, to the shores of Canford Cliffs.

We are completing this challenge in aid of St Barnabas House, who have been providing specialist palliative care to individuals and further support to their families free of charge in our local area since 1968. We would like to show our gratitude to the organisation supporting thousands of local people through both the hospice and in-home care services, as well as virtually through their Living Well service.

It costs around £5 million each year to provide these services, with only a small portion of care costs funded by the state, which means our community relies heavily on the generosity of other caring individuals to support the incredible work that they do. We ask that you consider donating, no matter how little, to help support St Barnabas House and their invaluable work.

Thank you!

In memory of Andrew Stevens.  Dedicated to the Hospice at Home team who gave such wonderful support to Andrew and his family.

More information about St Barnabas House: 'St Barnabas House provides specialist palliative care to adults with life-limiting illnesses, both within the hospice and in the comfort of patients' own homes across West Sussex.
Patients are never charged for their care, but only a small part of our care costs are state funded. This means that the majority of the money has to be raised through voluntary donations from people in local communities within the Worthing, Adur, Arun and Henfield areas. People like you.'
