The Journey to Save my Mom’s Life

My name is Zach. Many know me as BeautyMrk. In the last couple of months, my mother has been fighting her addiction more than ever, with her luckily being able to come back to life before Christmas. Her heart stopped, and I know that there’s a reason for her still being here. My goal is to raise 10,000 dollars to help my mother stay in her group home for a couple of months so I can prepare a place for her to live, and so her health can get back to normal, and for future medical bills, and medicine. She suffers from alcoholic dementia, and all I want to do is to help her as much as she’s helped me. Our family is full of addicts, and for a long time, she attempted to fight off that temptation. She was a personal trainer, and a warrior, only to fall victim to a disease. I lost my mother technically before Christmas and didn’t know what the result would be until her doctor called me and told me that they were able to save her from a heart attack that is extremely rare. She does not have insurance sadly after my parents got divorced finally last year, and I’ve tried putting as much as I can into giving her a place to stay away from that temptation. My father has forgotten her, and chosen to leave her behind, even though he is also responsible for continuing to drink around her, even after she left rehabilitation. I’m all that she has left, and I’m struggling to keep her there financially. I know that I can get her the help that she needs, and I know that I can be that person for her in the near future. Between having to move, and deal with a serious situation on the side, I have unfortunately been drained of what I can use to help keep her there. Every donation is a step forward helping to keep the one person that I’ve ever really loved alive. She deserves it, and I thank all of you who are willing to make that happen.
