“The journey of promise “

Hi , My name is Anna Wallace and I am fundraising to keep “The Promise” that I made my deceased aunt alive. On September 2, 2019 My adopted aunt died, leaving behind three beautiful children with special needs. I made a promise to her on her death bed that I would continue to love and care for her babies as my own . I have not failed to do this alone for four years and I sure wouldn’t want to fail now. I have four biological children of my own ( single mom of 7 ) . Although many never fail to acknowledge how great of a job I’ve done with the kids, it’s not easy.

I never knew my “YES “ to my aunt would equal pain. The pain stems from going to this lovely system in search of subsidy for the kids as I can no longer afford to do this on my own . I have depleted and exhausted my savings in the attempt of doing this with absolutely no help accept FNS (Food Nutrition Services) and Medicaid . The state makes me feel as though the kids and I are being penalized because I chose to love them rather than turn them over to the state. They refuse to make the kids a ward of the state and allow me to foster them. I feel as though these babies should not be measured differently than any other foster child due to one choosing to love them. I don’t want to live with giving up on my promise . The kids have been denied their disability twice , giving no legitimate reason. I am presently awaiting my appeal in front of a judge.

I am asking for donations to catch up on living expenses( back rent , credit cards , borrowed funds , items they need , moving expenses , school, food etc….) Bills are consistently increasing and my pay is not . The kids have so many therapy’s , appointments etc…. Working full-time is not an option. The lack of resources for me in this situation is totally unfair . I said yes to my aunt out of love for her and the kids not knowing I would be in this alone .

please help me continue my promise❤️ so that I can keep my babies with me ! I deserve them not the system
