Hello, my name is Julie Torrance, a retired Canadian who spends most of my time in Jamaica. I have a long history of Fundraising for Africa and leading Christian Ministries in Ottawa, Canada.
Please consider helping the Jones family of 7 rebuild their home lost in Hurricane Melissa in the hills of Jamaica.
Mr Jones and his sons are fishermen in Long Bay, Negril and the 3 young girls Boom Boom age 6, Felisha age 9 and Francella age 12 love school. The girls are all sleeping in the one little store room in the photo. When I asked their Mom what their immediate need is she uncovered towel and showed me the bananas “food” she said.
We were able to provide the needed food but they need a new home.
Like most Jamaicans, Mr. Jones is a talented man. He said he can build a house himself and his two boys. He just needs the materials. If you can find it in your heart to please donate something or your talents to help rebuild a home, but this time made of blocks. I have made a commitment to ensure they have a home pls help make this a reality!
