THE INGLESTON ADOPTION

Donation protected
Hello all!

First of all thank you sooo much for your prayers and donations! I want to tell you a little bit about the Ingleston's.

Haley is a young woman in grad school who left her job to take on school and fostering full time. Christian is a man of faith who solely provides for their family. They both knew God called them to be a foster family. It takes the most selfless and courageous people to open not only your home but your hearts to be a foster family. Fostering can be such a magical thing but also can be painful and dark. This family recently had a baby come into their homes just a few days old and raised this child from birth for several months. They absolutely adored him but the state took him relentlessly and placed him with another family. As you can imagine this crushed both of them and our family. We all loved him beyond measure but we trusted God's plan.

Boy did he have something up his holy sleeves, yall! Please read Haley's Facebook post below on the situation God has brought to our family. Please pray about this and share this link with your friends and family. I am personally asking for donations for this family because they are my family and I have seen first hand what kind of parents they are and I know this is a complete blessing to them. Not only do they deserve this chance but this child deserves such a family like them.

"Ok y’all, buckle up. I’m about to walk you through the past few days in our house and what a ride it’s been! I’m not even sure where to begin... God is good, so so good! Christian and I have had adoption on our hearts the past month more than ever. We talked about it, prayed about it, and then decided that we just weren’t financially in a place to pursue that process. We were having a hard time accepting the decision though because it weighed so heavily. And then God. Two days after we decided we were going to have to turn that over to God and if it was meant to be He would find a way, we got an unexpected phone call. My aunt had met a woman that was in a tough situation and was needing some help. She had found herself homeless and in a dark place mentally. She was overwhelmed with the fact that she was due to have a baby in a matter of weeks.

One thing led to another and yesterday afternoon I got a call from my aunt and this sweet mama. She was overjoyed with the fact that she had the chance to offer a stable life to her child and asked that we adopt her baby boy.   She let us know that what she wanted for him was a “normal family” that would love him, protect him, and give him a “fair shot in life”. I reassured her that this sweet pea would be spoiled and loved beyond belief and I thanked her for carrying our son and being an incredible mama for making the most selfless decision I can possibly imagine. I will forever admire her strength.

We don’t believe in coincidence. We believe with our whole hearts that God orchestrated this sequence of events in the order that He did so that our baby boy could find his home. We are confident that this baby is ours and that God has His hands in the tiniest of details. We believe that He is covering our baby and protecting his little body and that He has been from the beginning. We ask that you cover him in your prayers. We need you all. We need prayers that our baby is safe and healthy and that regardless of his lack of prenatal care or exposure in the womb that he is thriving. We’re praying for a smooth and safe delivery and an easy transitional process. And pray for birth mama. Please pray that God would just wrap His arms around her during this time. Ask that she would feel his presence, contentment in her heart, and know that her life has a purpose.

This is the hard part. The part where we must put our pride to the side and be honest. As I said above, we are in no way prepared for this financially. This was not in our “plans” nor did we foresee this coming. Unfortunately adoption is extremely expensive, yes even private adoptions. We’re living on one income and I am trying to get through grad school and on top of trying to meet all of the legal requirements, get documents signed, hire an attorney, and make it all happen in a matter of days we are out of ideas. The adoption process itself is going to cost us around $8,000 from start to finish. We know that God will provide, we’re just not quite sure how. If you feel led to make a donation or help in any way, we would be eternally grateful. Also, anyone who has any fundraising ideas that could take place quickly, we’re open to options! If you can’t help financially, we ask that you share our story but most importantly remember us in your prayers. We are beyond excited for this journey and we can’t wait to meet our baby boy, Elijah Cade Ingleston  "
