More information about Burntwood & District Community First Responders: A local group of volunteers who are trained by and respond on behalf of West Midlands Ambulance Service. In 2018 to 2019 our Team of 15 gave over 2101 'on duty' hours to the communities we serve.

They are totally reliant on donations and grants together with their own fundraising to keep them on the road.

This includes purchasing and maintaining both of their Response Vehicles, buying uniforms and other equipment. They cover Burntwood, Chasetown, Chase Terrace, Norton Canes, Great Wyrley, Cheslyn Hay...

The work these amazing people put in is completely voluntary!!!! No one knows when any of us will need them in the future, having trained and committed health professionals on our doorstep could be lifesaving so please donate what you can!
