On Tuesday 20th May, Beckie was tragically taken from her family at just 33 years old. Beckie suffered from Antiphospholipid Syndrome, a illnes that effects the blood. Beckie had recently suffered a series of strokes caused by her illness, and it was during her recovery from a stroke that Beckie suffered from a second major stroke that she was unable to recover from.
Beckie loved her family beyond measure and the love and support the whole family have for each other is beautiful.
Her biggest joy was her children, Freya, 4 and Elijah, 3. Proving a loving home for her babies was her priority, a legacy that has now passed to Beckie's sisters Lisa, Tanya and Sarah, with Tanya, her husband and their children now proving a stable and happy home for Freya and Elijah.
Donations will be used to help Tanya and her family undertake adaptations to their home to allow Freya and Elijah and Tanya's children to have their own bedrooms and room for family of six to grow into and allow the family to make some precious memories with the children. They will also allow Beckie's family to provide a fitting funeral to their beautiful and missed daughter, sister, mummy and auntie.
Nothing any of us can do will help ease the pain at this devastating time but I know that many of us would like to do ‘something’ to offer our love and support to the whole family.
Any contribution, no matter how big or small, will be greatly appreciated and will go some way to support this wonderful family.
