The Hygiene Project - Boston
Donation protected
Now that Boston has become my permanent home, I’m hoping to return a little love back to the people in this city through donating hygiene products to a local women’s shelter, Rosie’s Place.
There's a reason that the most requested items from shelters worldwide are for hygiene products - cleanliness is humanizing. While local shelters do the best they can to provide basic hygiene products, the request is high and their stock is low. The money raised by this campaign will go towards buying bulk hygiene products such as soap, toothpaste, toothbrushes, deodorant, shampoo, conditioner, razors, and feminine hygiene products, all of which will be donated directly to Rosie’s Place. These items not only help those in need to feel clean on a daily basis, but help women and children to attend school, go to work, or enter job interviews and other opportunities with confidence.
Last time we were able to raise $2,100 and donated over 1,500 hygiene kits! With our new goal of $2,500, any and all donations are welcome, as even $1 takes us one step closer to making this difference in our community! Re-sharing this fundraiser is just as valuable as a donation so please feel free to re-share in place of a donation.
