The Hygiene Project is a student-made organization that is dedicated to providing free hygienic products to public school students. Our project was created to help better our school environment and create comfort in those who menstruate. School should be a place where you feel taken care of. We initially started The Hygiene Project to do just that! Our main goal was to destigmatize hygienic health and make sure our classmates knew that they could rely on us to provide them with hygienic supplies in the case of an emergency.

As a project, we rely on outside funds to help us maintain the hygienic baskets at each of our partner schools. The schools have four "THP Representatives" who take charge of refilling the baskets with intimate products weekly and re-designing them monthly. They also communicate with the THP board about their flow of donations and based on that, we supply them with whatever they may need. For the first month of our partnerships, the schools are gifted all the resources necessary to keep the baskets filled for a month with no outside donations, which is another thing we provide for them.

Our project is young, being just 1 year old, and we are still finding ways to market ourselves better and build an overall amazing Non-Profit that can become self-sustainable! We thank BNI for this amazing opportunity and hope you see us as a project you can invest in.
