The Cattistock Hunt snatched our drone on Saturday morning so that they could get away with hunting foxes without us watching.
We were flying above a wood recording the hounds when the low battery warning came up, so started to return to home. The signal then dropped out a couple of times and interference prevented it from moving forward (there was no wind for it to fight against), the GPS signal was then also lost. The battery level became critical and it made an emergency landing in a field.
The last image it managed to transmit was a member of the hunt running towards it.
We rushed to the exact spot it landed, but it had gone!
Our drone was an essential tool enabling us to record the hunts illegal activities from the air. We currently have 3 open cases with Dorset Police with drone footage as the main body of evidence of foxhunting.
Please give whatever you can to help us replace it, our effectiveness is severely hampered without it.
Thank you
