the Hummingbird Cancer Support Group

Hi, I am Alexander and I am raising money for the Hummingbird Cancer Support Group which is a small local charity in Bishop's Stortford, they offer psychological and physical relief to people going through cancer, they offer massages, acupuncture along with counseling. In 2019 my mum was diagnosed with stage three endometrial cancer which had spread to the ovaries. She was told she would have to undergo a radical b hysterectomy followed by 6 cycles of chemotherapy along with 25 sessions of abdominal radiotherapy over a 5-week period. The chemotherapy and radiotherapy made her feel especially ill and she found some days lacking the energy to even get out of bed. On the days she could, she would go to the Hummingbird Cancer Support group. She was able to speak to people going through similar things which helped her come to terms with different stages of the journey. I am raising money for the Hummingbird Cancer Support Group as the work they do helped my family greatly and made this time in my mum's life remotely bearable. With your donations, the Hummingbird Cancer Support Group will be able to continue the excellent work they do in helping other families through this ghastly experience.
