The Human Bridge Project

What is it? The Human Bridge Project was started in response to the horrifying situation at our Southern Border. The policies of our current administration have led to a back up at the border of thousands of migrant families living in dire circumstances. People of all ages are awaiting asylum (which takes months) in threadbare shelters with little to no supplies.  We are volunteering to personally purchase and deliver needed goods to them. EVERY LITTLE BIT HELPS. We can all make a difference.

Who are we? We are just three moms who happened to have been born on the "right side of the border" and realized that EVERY LITTLE BIT HELPS; that doing something for fellow human beings facing daunting difficulties is within our reach.

How? We went down to Tijuana to tour shelters, meet the people who run them and assess their needs.  What we saw humbled us -- families of 4 or 5 sharing one small tent; 2 toilets shared by 130 people; lack of nutritious food; lack of basic essentials; no heating or cooling...yet these conditions are STILL better than the conditions they are trying to escape from.

Now we're asking you to join us in this little mama-led project. No overheads here. It's just us and you. Please consider donating any amount so we may personally purchase and deliver essentials to the shelters. Essentials such as towels, baby formula, soap, bleach, sleeping bags, shoes, cooking pots, a commercial washer and dryer. All basic human needs that would help crowded shelters function.
