The Homeless Editor

On April 24th, 2020, Rich Jackson was laid off from his position as Executive Editor at The Herald-Times and subsequently given a week to vacate the newspaper-owned apartment where he had been living for ten months. Now staying at his local Motel 6, Rich is one of the many people displaced and dispossessed by the current COVID-19 crisis. Turning to what he does best, Rich decided to start a blog chronicling his experience, called "The Homeless Editor."

Many have reached out, asking how they can be of help to him during this time. The proceeds from this GoFundMe will go directly to Rich, to help him find secure housing and for daily expenses during this transition.
