The Holy Family Shelter

Hello all,

The Holy Family Shelter in Willimantic Connecticut was established in 1990 to house and feed women and children temporarily while they secured permanent housing.

Over the last year and a half, due to inefficient management, grants and funding were not secured to keep the shelter afloat. They now find themselves right back where they were in 1990 when they first started to provide for those in need.

I’ve always believed that when we are in a position to help others, we need to do so.

I am asking for donations to help the shelter get back on his feet in the midst of this crisis.

Please consider making a donation that will go directly, through me, to purchase essential items of food and personal care for the 29 individuals who are currently housed at the shelter. 14 of these people are children under the age of nine.
