For the past few weeks, we have all been captivated by the unfolding events at the canal in Ouanaminthe.
It’s a historic moment that we are witnessing, and we understand the importance it holds.
However, we have noticed that this historic event is being captured primarily with low-quality telephone videos and photos. In this digital era, we believe we can do better in preserving our history.
That’s why FacesofHaiti has chosen to take a significant step.
We’ve decided to properly document this historical event with a professional 1 hour 30 minutes film-documentary: 'THE HEROES OF "MASSACRE RIVER.'
We are embarking on an 8-day mission to Ouanaminthe to bring this vision to life.
In this documentary, we aim to highlight key historical moments of the Massacre River over the years, following its trail from the begging to the end.
We will particularly showcase the individuals who have pioneered this movement
and engage with local experts to properly explain the construction's impact for agriculture.
