Hi there, I’m Tom and I’m the founder of The Healing Hikers.

Throughout my late teens and into my 20s, I have struggled with mental health issues and soon found that the outdoors is a great medicine for healing the mind!

Whether it is grief, physical health worries, loneliness, break-ups, anxiety, depression or any other form of mental trauma, being outside is a great form of recovery.

I want to attempt to have a chance at building a little community of like minded people who get outside and adventure to heal the mind, and as an extra have decided to set up this donation page to support the Charity Mind.

Mind is a mental health charity that provides information and support, campaigns for better services, and works to end mental health stigma, so for me this is something that hits close to home.

I run this community completely out my own time voluntarily and appreciate any support given, with all donations going directly to the charity.
