We are The Headband Ladies, a group of ladies who became aware of a need to protect elementary kiddos ears from Michigan winters during recess and to/from school. In 2015 with 2 knitters, we made 150 headbands for one nearby school. 10 years later, we have 27 knitters in 3 states, residing in 19 cities We have distributed over 39,000 headbands/hats to date. We will run out of yarn but never run out of kiddos who need a warm headband. Monies raised will pay for yarn.  Each headband yarn costs 75 cents/$1.50 per hat. Our labor is donated. Our mission “Together we warm little ears” says it all.
