Val and Brennen Hawkes, my sister and brother-in-law, had no idea when they got married that they wouldn't be able to have children. In 2020, Val received the news from the doctors that she had Premature Ovarian Failure, a loss of normal function of the ovaries before age 40.

Val and Brennen always dreamed of raising a family together, and are now starting their journey to adopt a child.
