The Harvathon

I am running a marathon on Friday 27th May in memory of my brother Ian who tragically lost his life in January during a hiking trip on Mount Adams, New Zealand

This is no ordinary marathon - this is THE HARVATHON!

The Noosa Marathon in Australia is on Saturday 28th May and this would have been the last in the triology of Runaway marathons my brother was running with his friend Sam

Sam is riding solo and making this happen in Australia and I am going to run the distance at the same time as her, but I will be doing a local tour and trip down memory lane of meaningful places in Ian’s life ❤️

We will be raising money for the Land, Search & Rescue Team to show our appreciation for their support in locating and taking good care of Ian after his fall. Ian was actually an active member of the LSR crew and I know he would love me to do something to help

I will be joined at various points by some of my runners and also my cousin Jordan. We are starting at 9.15pm on Friday 27th May to reflect Sam’s early start of 6.15am in Australia

Sam and I might be thousands of miles apart, but we can still make this epic! A great dedication to Ian and raising money for these amazing people who do such a great job
