The Hartzog Family – Life & Medical Expenses
Donation protected
For those of you who don't know Chris Hartzog, he is a Volunteer Firefighter in Pinckard, AL and works with Echo EMS. He also ran Chapman's Small Engines in Pinckard, a family-owned small business. He is a loving husband to his high school sweetheart, Brandy, and a devoted dad to their two sons, Drew & Will. In April of 2024, Chris was put on Dialysis 3x/week due to sudden kidney failure. Because of his condition and the amount of time spent on Dialysis, he's been unable to work, and they had no choice but to close their small business. As you can imagine, this has been extremely difficult on their family, both emotionally and financially. Brandy is a Kindergarten teacher in Midland City, AL and as we all know, teachers do not do what they do for the money. Living in this economy on one income is tough for anyone, but with the added medical expenses and all of the costs associated with Chris' care, it's become even harder for Chris & Brandy. Chris is still waiting to be added to the list for a Kidney Transplant, and while we are praying he's able to get on it and receive a transplant very soon, this process could take a very long time. On behalf of The Hartzogs, their families are asking for donations to ease their financial burden during this already difficult time. Any and every donation, no matter how big or small, will be a huge blessing to Chris & Brandy. We understand that times are hard, so if all you can do is share this fundraiser and say a prayer for Chris and his family, we'd greatly appreciate that as well. Thank you all for your support and your prayers. ❤️
