On Sunday 26th April, seven members of The Grey Horse team will be walking barefoot across hot coals to raise money for an incredible local cause.

We’re taking part in “A Firewalk for Christopher” in support of The Christopher Cowe Memorial Fund.

This charity raises awareness of young sudden cardiac death and funds vital heart screenings to help detect undiagnosed heart conditions in young people.

As a pub at the heart of our local community, we wanted to step up (quite literally!) and do something to support a cause that means so much to so many.

There are seven of us taking part, and we’re each aiming to raise £150 – that’s £1,050 in total. Every pound donated will go directly towards supporting the work of this amazing charity.
