The Great North Run 2024 for BEE UNIQUE ❤️

Hi Everyone, thanks for visiting my fund raising page.

On Sunday 8th September I will be taking part in the Great North Run. It’s been a while since I ran a half marathon and if you’d told me this time last year I’d be running 13.1 miles again I’d have laughed…a lot! However with a bit of consistency, encouragement and motivation here I am.

I’m raising money in aid of BEE UNIQUE who are a brilliant local charity providing support and creating communities for children diagnosed with autism. They give every child the chance to socialise and have fun through activities, days out and experiences. They also provide families with advice, support and education.

I’ll be running it with my friend Hilary; we’ve been training since the beginning of the year whatever the weather (mostly rain here in West Cumbria!) and we’re now ready to give it our all on the 8th Sept. Every donation will help spur me on to get to the finish line and mean so much to the families that BEE UNIQUE support. Thank you so much in advance for your contribution.
