Help Our Family With the Great Move of 2025

This fall, our family is taking a big step of faith and necessity. We’ve made the decision to bring everyone together under one roof in Ohio. In order to make this happen, my daughter and I will be driving 2 vehicles all the way from Ohio to Arizona, spending a day loading belongings, and then making the long trip back home with 4 more people and 2 dogs.

This isn’t just about moving things — it’s about making a home for our family, where everyone has space and support. It means finishing the garage apartment, preparing the basement, kitchen, and laundry room, and even building a safe and comfortable space for the dogs. It will be a full house, and yes, there will be challenges, but it will also be a house filled with the support I need.

Why This Is Urgent

Part of the urgency comes from health issues. My son John has ongoing serious medical issues that require stability and support, and I also face health concerns of my own. We don’t have the luxury of waiting — we need to make this move while we are still able to do the hard work it requires.

At the same time, like many families, we’re carrying heavy financial burdens. Between John’s medical bills and my own, we already face more than $50,000 in medical debt, plus maxed-out credit cards just from keeping things going. That makes it impossible for us to shoulder the cost of this move alone.
