The Ghost bike program needs your help!!

My Name is Cory Bacon.
I run the Group RIP'm (Ride in Paradise memorials). This group is run by volunteers and responsible for the white Ghost Bikes you see at fallen rider locations, as well as the large motorcycle funeral rides you may have seen on the news or in person as they weave through the city to the resting places of our fallen friends and family.
Due to circumstances beyond my control I'm no longer able to personally fund the Ghost Bike program. So I'm reaching out to the Edmonton community, in the hopes your donations will allow the Ghost bike program to continue for another year or more.

I hope just about everyone in Edmonton has seen the Ghost bikes during their travels around the Edmonton area.
It helps as a reminder to drivers and motorcyclists alike, to remain aware of their surroundings, look twice & slow down. Above all, it helps the friends and family's of the fallen riders. Providing a type of grave marker and gathering place, where everyone can place memorial items and write their last messages or good-bye's on the Ghost bikes themselves.
The Ghost Bikes have been around since 2019. At first we thought 1 would be enough... Soon a 2nd one was needed and now I maintain 4 Ghost bikes in the Edmonton area. RIP'm has received small donations over the years and we thank everyone who did so. We must also give a HUGE shoutout to Psycho Cycles and Salvage as without their amazing help, this program never would have happened at all. It was amazing and emotional to see other communities take up the cause as well. We've helped to provide Ghost bikes to surrounding areas such as Calgary, Red deer, Loyddminister, Sherwood Park, Fort Saskatchewan, Leduc, Wetaskiwin, Morinville & Gibbons.
If the program receives enough support, perhaps we'd be able to reach areas further outside Edmonton on a regular basis. Every fallen rider deserves a memorial.

RIP'm has run this program without asking for donations all these years. But the time has come where we need to ask. without your support this program will not be able to continue after this season into 2026.
Please consider donating to keep this great program alive.
