Raising money for the “Gerallt Davies Foundation” Gerallt Davies was a paramedic for over 20 years at Cwmbwrla Station, Swansea, and National Operations Officer at St John Ambulance which he was a volunteer at for over 40 years. He passed away on Monday 20 April 2020. Gerallt began his career in 1994. He was described as being a valued member of the team who was known for his “professionalism, laughter and friendship” over the years by all that knew him. Gerallt was awarded an MBE for services to first aid provision in Wales and his immeasurable contribution to public safety at national scale events. The Gerallt Davies foundation aims to continue this work in his memory by supporting the charity sector in Wales and providing support for young people to pursue careers in healthcare and uniformed public services.
