As many of you know, my son Dakota Franklin has Cystic Fibrosis. He was diagnosed when he was fifteen years old. He has been through a lot of hurdles with this disease, including multiple trips to the ER with pain from pancreatitis and a few hospital stays. Overall though, he has been relatively healthy for someone with CF. For as long as I can remember Dakota has always wanted a family. Dakota met Debbie when he was sixteen and she was fourteen. Debbie has been right by Dakota's side through everything. She has been there at the hospital and always keeping up with his medications. They got married this past December after dating for five years. They knew having children could be a challenge because a lot of males with Cystic Fibrosis are infertile. Unfortunately, we found out the only way they can have biological children is through the possibility of IVF (invitrofertilization), which isn't always an option. After lots of prayers and tests, we found out that they are candidates for IVF. With being newlyweds just starting out, they cannot go through this journey on their own without financial help. Therefore, I am asking for help. We are grateful for any donations. If you can't donate, please share our post. But most importantly, PRAY!
