The Fraley family (my family) needs your help!

I'm Kathy and I'm starting a fund for my family. We recently lost my youngest cousin, Jason Fraley. Eight years ago, we lost his brother Matt. The Fraley family has been through so many extremely difficult experiences and tremendous losses. I'm not sure anyone could ever recover from everything they've had to endure.

Jason and his older brother Matt were the only two children of my aunt and uncle, Margaret and Bob Fraley. Uncle Bob is my late mother's only brother. Not only did my family lose a first cousin and a lifelong friend, but my aunt and uncle have now lost both of their sons. The family is not only grief-stricken but has been struggling for years recovering from the loss of their older son and Bob's cancer diagnosis.

Bob is dependent on medically necessary equipment following his laryngectomy and partial removal of his tongue due to throat cancer. After this tremendous loss of Jason, Margaret, who is in her 70s, is now the sole provider of care and physical dependency for her husband. At this point in their lives, generating income is not an option. There are so many medical bills and financial responsibilities, including everyday expenses and utilities.

With the upcoming winter season, they need tremendous help to keep heat in the house and food on the table, and everyday things that most of us take for granted. Please find it in your heart to help this family in any way you possibly can.

Matt and Jason were not just my cousins; they were my little brothers first, and we all shared a home and a childhood. Many of you will remember us living on Charles Street in Wilkes-Barre. Anyone who has suffered a lot knows the hidden expenses that come about, and no one wants to ask for help. So please help in any way you can. We all appreciate it more than you can imagine.
