The firefighters charity hike
We're Walking the Peak District for The Fire Fighters Charity!
This September, two of us from Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service are taking on a tough challenge: walking from the south to the north of the Peak District over four days—covering miles of rugged trails, steep climbs, and unpredictable weather. We're doing it all to raise money for a cause that’s close to our hearts: The Fire Fighters Charity.
This incredible organisation supports current and former fire service personnel, providing vital help with physical rehabilitation, mental health, and emotional well-being. Whether it's recovering from injury, dealing with trauma, or needing a place to turn during difficult times, the charity is there when it matters most.
As firefighters, we know firsthand the pressures of the job—and we know how important it is to have support when you need it. That's why we’re lacing up our boots and putting in the miles.
Every donation, no matter the size, makes a difference.
Please support us on this journey and help us give something back to those who dedicate their lives to keeping others safe.
Thank you!
